This is how I feel about it. Light, sights, side saddle, sling. If you plan on shooting with gloves get an oversized safety. I see where people put new followers in them that are plastic. I have an 870 police and it still has a plastic follower. So I don't get it. The best thing you can do for an 870 is learn how to be efficient with to. Couple cases of shells and some steel.
