Things fall thru the cracks some times. Court records departments are busy places looks like. I had gotten a ticket in Wagoner County on the Muskogee turnpike in 1990 by the OHP when I was in Okiehoma visiting from California. I paid the ticket because I remembered I did and I also remember my insurance going up and my boss in Cali being upset because it was on my MVR and I was on the company insurance as I did alot of driving around San Francisco in company vehicles while working- a funeral home/death scene cleanup company, etc. We had to maintain clean driving records. But many years later when checking my record myself online in 03' after I had moved to Oklahoma I noticed in Wagoner County records that they had my ticket listed as not paid. But no warrant went out,no letter, nothing. I live in Wagoner County so I went over to get it straightened out cause you just never know when its going to be a problem. And it was quite an ordeal getting it all figured out. They had no record of it being paid,I had no proof I had paid it as it was 13 years prior, but no warrant had been issued,my license was never suspended, nada. Peace of mind though when it all got worked out.
