I'm looking for a good CCW weapon in a .40cal. I want to stay around 600 dollars +/- $50. What do some of you have that you think I should consider?

I like the S&W M&P. It is less blocky than the Glock and fits most peoples' hands with the right backstrap installed. Otherwise a Glock is still good. If you can cover a full size in light clothing, go with that otherwise the equivalent compact is the way to go.

hard to beat a revolver for CCW... ultra light weight packing .357 if desired.

I carry a G27 all year with a slide clip on it. I can still holster it in my don hume but I can clip it on lighter clothes during the summer. It can get a bit heavy at times in the summer but it is worth the sacrifice.
