I'm going with opossum, not flat enough for a badger.

Look at the white markings on top of his head in one of those pictures can’t remember which one

it's a badger, once at my uncles place in Wyoming we saw a badger that was digging in a prairie dog hole with just his back end sticking out, so I snuck up grabbed his tail and pulled him out........I'll never do that again

If it is a badger, don't trap it in her front yard. The only thing that makes a bigger mess than a badger is a badger in a trap lol. Have to carry a snow shovel with me when I'm trapping them.
