This was over ten years ago and SFH didn't even have enough ventilators for CICU. The ventilator that was keeping him alive was borrowed from the children's hospital. If someone that actually had a chance to get better had come in and needed a ventilator, I'd feel pretty bad telling them they couldn't have the one keeping my dad, who had no higher brain function, alive because I wasn't ready to let him go.</p></blockquote><p></p>
