You think a range like this would ever fly in the US?

There is a range in Nebraska that uses concrete culverts to shoot through for long range rifle. They are set at an angle so that its impossible to shoot into the side berms and you cannot shoot too high to fly over the back berms.


Where I used to live there was a public range like that. The culverts were about 4 feet long and there was one area for rifle and another for pistol. Never shot there but I also lived on 120 acres in the hills so there was no need.

We actually considered making the Ponca 300 yd range with that design, but went with the berm design we have now without the tubes as recommended by the NRA range designers. Cool idea though.
