    When I was in Ag class (early '70s), some of us kids were changing a wheel on the shop bench grinder (it was actually on a stand IIRC).

    The left wheel had left-handed threads, which I noticed and pointed out to a couple more kids. One of them understood, the other one was adamant that "there's no such thing as left-handed threads."

    His reasoning was... the right side lug nuts on a car tighten toward the front, and the left side tighten toward the rear (lol, one of those Mopars would have blown his mind).

    I tried to show him that both ends of the bench grinder nuts tightened in the same direction, but he was so convinced he was right that he walked away and wouldn't even look at it again.

    56 is better hidden than 57, you can see the fin cuts in a 56 you literally have be looking at it to see the twist latch to flip down the light
