Ruger Super Redhawk, scoped, 7 1/2" barrel. Tons of fun. Can hit a tennis ball at 30 yards while standing unsupported. It's going hunting this deer season, and for hogs before that. CB

Mine is a Magnaported S&W 629 Classic Hunter. I think it is a 6 1/2" barrel. It's one of my favs.

Mine ia a S&W 629 with the 8 3/4 barrel.
I don't shoot it as much anymore with the arthirits in the hand.
Just too painful, I don't even shoot 357 mag as much anymore.
I load a real pleasant 38spl round for plinking these days.
Doesn't have much more recoil than a 22lr.

Since you reload, make up some lightish .44 Specials and take her out again. They are absolute babies in mine, but would still pack a whollop on the receiving end.

I already do that with my 624.
No need to dirty the cylinder of the mag.
Other than it's shorter barrel they are identical.
But thanks for the advice just the same.
