Got that right! wife's cousin and uncle have a 270 that shoots great at 50 yards but misses every thing it shoots at.
I was there, Missouri, on a 4th of July weekend looked at the scope and it was canted a bunch..

Not much "Dope" peddlers here.

How about the old 357 magnum remember that stuff.

This is from a german 6" revolver with a short throat Lee lead bullets 158gr SWC gas checked lubed with alox
sized to .357" as the revolver cones are .357" and the barrel slugged at .3565"

The .49CC was measured with a lee disc measure and dispensed through a lee powder through expanding die.
No crimp used on these or any rounds for my 357 mag...My accuracy is better with no crimp.

All shots are standing up shooting 2 handed.
I want to say mid 800 fps on these rounds, bullet actually weighs 170gr 2/3 wheel weight and 1/3 soft water dropped.
White paper is 70 feet and winchester brass 5.1gr hp38 cci 500 1.545" OAL
purple paper is 30 feet and federal brass, HP 38 .49cc cci 500 1.545" OAL

I had a load at 100 yards would stay on a sheet of paper with that 357 mag..
But that jug of old old 2400 ran dry :(
Have not duplicated it yet..My buddies crony registered the speed many times at 1,376 give or take a few fps with that 170gr
through that german revolver.

Would shoot at sticks in the water at 200 yards and off hand i could get closer than my buddy and his 336 30-30 with store ammo, I would have the stick bouncing and getting sprayed with water.. his shots were 2 feet away sometimes.

Wish i had that load today....Would be a few deer falling from the 357 mag.

Was shooting at banner with that load at 100 yards and all was quiet except my 357 mag.. guys were waiting to walk down to look at targets...I told them sorry i was in the zone.. They stated that was fine they were impressed watching me hit the target at that range with a revolver and no rest...Got a big head that day..

That same load with new powder registers in the upper 1100 fps...

Ruger LCP .380 w/fixed sights. I was shooting a variety of ammo and it all seemed to shoot the same: 90g, 91g and 94g magtech, Critical Defense, CarBon, AE, and something else I dont recall.
