Hi,

One of my favorite shooters is this 4 5/8" Ruger Single Six:

[Broken External Image]

I always start out a range session with it. It has both a standard and magnum cylinder and with both you can shoot every 22 rimfire ammo on the planet that I know of. It also has a nice heavy centerfire style firing pin that seems to light off anything. 337 rounds fired of every type of cheap bulk stuff and -zero- failures.

I had a Buck Mark I foolishly sold. Even worse is the reason I sold it, at the time I felt it was just too easy to shoot well...

Thanks,

Alan

Overall Didi is my favorite .22 handgun,,,
She's a S&W Model 15 that dates from the mid 1960's,,,
Still shoots sweet after countless bricks of ammo through her barrel.

If I am in a cowboy mood then Lucille is who I turn to,,,
She's an alloy framed Colt Frontier Scout,,,
My Momma bought her when I was 12.
