Looking to expand my tackle box a bit and gather some ideas for fishing Oklahoma bass. Talk about one or more of your go-to lures for catching bass...how do you rig it and jig it?
My #1: Berkley powerbait 7" worm (red shad). I use a basic texas rig with a bullet shaped sinker...ive had more luck with these lures than anything else. I've tried generic worms that look very similar and the results just aren't the same. Completely weedless to really get up close to the bank and perfect for kids to use. Slow and easy jig action so the lure stays pretty deep.
My #2: Basic white spinner bait. I think this one will be high on just about everyone's list, semi weedless to get fairly close to the bank and they just plain work just about every time. Great for bass and crappie. I just cast and reel it in nothing fancy.
