Youth hunt results

Well we didn't kill any of the big boys I had on cam but we still had a ton of fun yesterday and punched her tags before this nasty hot wind set in.

Her first deer

Successful hunter toting her firearm out. She complained of the weight before reaching the truck. Lol

Gotta let those young hunters have thier technology to keep their attention these days!

Things got serious when this gal walked in and she put down her game long enough to fill her second tag.

We were out yesterday evening and this morning. Hot and windy for sure. We have gotten skunked so far! Did't see squat! Pretty rough for the young ones to get skunked after many hours sitting.

An extremely rare 222. I believe the 222 was only produced one year in the model 7. It's the gun I shot my first deer with so it was a very special day for me.

I believe so, I've still got my dad's 6mm Model 7, it was made only a couple years. Lots of kids have killed their first deer with it.

Lil man killed his first one this morning! Used my old 30-30, been a truckload of deer killed with that rifle glad to pass it down. Congrats to all the youth that have scored so far!
