It's a new blind location but I've been hunting that place for 23 years now.
I see, I used to hunt some places just west of Ringwood. Turkeyville lol

very nice very nice job!!!!Was blessed to get to take my 3 boys out this weekend. It was my 7ry olds first real attempt at hunting. My 12 yr old now can sit on his own and my 10yr old was a great helper/mentor with me and the 7yr old.
No deer Friday or Saturday morning but about 6:20 sat evening it all came together had two die come in behind the tree but I couldn't see them so my 10yr old helped my little one pick them out while I helped hold the gun he had to lean out behind the tree and shoot left handed I thought for sure he would miss but he put a great shot on her with his .223
As we where getting her tracked and loaded my phone was ringing and my oldest, who took his bow instead of gun, was calling to tell me he shot a 10 pt. I was still excited about my little one and now nervous about him shooting a buck with his bow. It was a world wind of emotions. We got to his stand after dark to give the deer time and followed a great blood trail about 50 yards to his buck he made a great lung/top of heart shot. This was his first animal with a bow

View attachment 61274 I'd rather have a Mclemore knife over a Mcroskey any day, Mcroskeys are way to bulky for me and do not hold an edge like Scotts knives do.. This knife is a wharncliffe point that he makes.. It's the easiest knife to sharpen with a stone. I used it on my bull, it cut through the cape on the back of the neck like butter..
I'd like to know also.Do you have Scott's contact info, facebook or website for his knives? It's been 20+ years since I've seen Scott, when I moved from Stillwater. I had no idea how far his knives have come along.
