If you believe that, I have some ocean front property in Oklahoma I'd like to sell you. The media knows that race issues get ratings like nothing else and they jumped at the opportunity to report that a white guy gunned down an unarmed black boy. They didn't take the time to get it right because ratings=money and consequences be damned they were going to wring this story for all that it had. Add to that the immediate appearance of Sharpton, Jackson, and the black panthers and you have the perfect storm for a lynch mob and media frenzy. I'd be willing to bet my mortgage that if this were a little white boy that this would have only been a local story and no one in the media would have bothered because it would not stir the pot and made boo koo $$ like the story that they have portrayed. It happens all the time that a suspect is not charged until weeks later to take in all the evidence so that the prosecution can feel confident enough to win a case. This case however, has had enormous outside pressure and this may have forced the prosecution to file charges when they otherwise wouldn't. As a result they likely have a weaker than normal case but went ahead with it to appease the lynch mob. It will be ugly if they can not secure a conviction in this case.
