I've never had to form brass. I was given a hundred pieces of .300 Savage brass by someone who just knew I have a Savage and reload. My 99A is chambered in .250 but I didn't say anything because her heart is in the right place. Plus, you can't get un-fired .250 Savage brass and even the .300 Savage seems to be pretty scarce. I think I can use it since I already have an RCBS sizing die.
What should I keep in mind when forming? I assume I will need to trim the .300 Savage brass after I have sized it? Case lube or sizing wax? Anything else important?
Or should I hang on to it and see if there is someone out there that wants to trade?
