Here’s some petrified wood I found on my place yesterday

Here is one I put in my pocket and brought home.

You have some big pockets.

I don’t know, it doesn’t look scared to me though.

Every now and then I find some petrified wood on the north side of my place.

That part is a natural gravel pit.

Yesterday I found 3 pieces and one piece I think might be an impression made into mud that fossilized.

Any thoughts on the one piece that I think is a impression, maybe a foot print of a bird?

you might take those impressions to the Sam Noble dinosaur museum of natural history on the west side of OU and see if they can tell -
