Is anyone happy with their Savage A22 or B22 rifles?

I'm not trying to troll anyone here,,,
I'm just seeking honest feedback from A22 or B22 owners.

Back in 2021 I was very enamored with the A22,,,
But I could not find one to buy anywhere.

That might have been a fortunate thing for me,,,
I was reading a lot of posts about the A22 not feeding properly,,,
That and the fact that I couldn't find one for sale made me buy a CZ-457 Pro Varmint instead.

Here's the deal though,,,
My good buddy is in love with the looks of the A22,,,
He and I are both searching for new/current users of the A22 (or B22) rifle.

We're trying to determine if Savage has solved the feed problems,,,
It seems that the rifle was shearing off a lot of lead during the feed process.

So If you have a new one of either of these rifles,,,
Would you give an honest appraisal of it's performance?

Thanks in advance.

I had the A-17 HMR. Worse gun ever. Sent it back and forth 3 times in 6 months. The six months I owned it, I had it in my possession for about 20 days. I The other issure was the feeding of Hollow Points. on a Bolt Action Mark II. It is a nail driver but won't feed hollow points either. I called Savage...... They said they have been aware of the problem and still working on the fix. I told them the AFTER MARKET 10 ROUND WAS THE WORST. But the 5 round was a hit & miss. So she sent me one 5 round mag for warranty.
Personally, I keep buying the CZ 457's. Just as good if not better than Savage. All with the Heavy Bull Barrels. I have the .22 MTR, .22 Mag, and the .17 HMR. I have two of the Savage's in .22 and .17 HMR. All have $600 to $700 Scopes. Shoot them out over 200 yards with great accuracy. But I'll still choose the CZ's for 1st choice.

On another note.... I needed Extractors for my 17 HMR Savage. I looked all over the internet to find replacements. No Luck. I called Savage and told them I wanted to buy a set. They sent it to me under warranty!

I have a B22 FV-SR like the one pictured below. I forget which glass I have on it, but it's been reliable as heck and is easily the most accurate 22 that I have. I also love my Marlin 918TS but this is much more compact and handy-dandy sized.
