So how long do sheds last in the wild? I remember hearing years ago that ants and other insects will start eating on them. Is that true? If so, how quickly will they disappear ?
Mice eat them pretty quickly. Don't know about insects but I think even squirrels eat on them.

Not what I was expecting. Coyote must of carried it . Closest goats are at least a mile away.i found a bale of hay they missed too

Found one side of a shed on a trail yesterday. Young buck. Would have been an 8 point if the other side matched. Rode the ATV almost 15 miles around the fence lines and across fields.
Didn't really care if any were found or not, it was a great day to be out riding and found a couple of projects to do before next deer season.
