Oh well enjoy those A Team fantasies or let your inner DOC guard out I suppose
Reading through the posts, I’m going back and forth between scratching like a stray dog or bathing in flea dip and forgetting about it.The OP is under no delusion about the Ruger and want outweighs practicality 'mini mini' times in lots of things we buy. I say scratch that itch.
Agreed, I just built a AR10 in 308 less scope and mount for $510.No way in hell would I pay $900 or more for a mini of any flavor when you can buy a relatively decent quality AR from a whole host of companies in the $500 - $700 range
You probably have more self control than me, but if I get an itch for a particular gun, the only way to remedy it is to buy it. I’ll admit that the vast majority of the time I’m disappointed with the acquisition.Reading through the posts, I’m going back and forth between scratching like a stray dog or bathing in flea dip and forgetting about it.
I’d say my self control is somewhere around 2%. Looks like I’m going to scratch. You probably have more self control than me, but if I get an itch for a particular gun, the only way to remedy it is to buy it. I’ll admit that the vast majority of the time I’m disappointed with the acquisition.
I’m currently looking at a Freedom Arms revolver that I absolutely don’t need, and I’ve been texting with a member on here who’s familiar with them. They’re evidently great guns, but I was able to talk myself out of it. However, the seller contacted me a couple days ago asking me to make an offer, so now I’m back to obsessing over it. The only thing really holding me back is that I’d have to drive almost 3 hours one way to pick it up.I’d say my self control is somewhere around 2%. Looks like I’m going to scratch.
I bought an early 580 series Mini 14. Always thought it shot better than I could. Also own several PSA ARs. They are both fun to shoot. Just something about blue steel and wood.I love mini's but a $500 psa AR 15 will out perform it in every way
