Thanks man. I seem to be turning into a big softy since I met my wife. Guess some ladies have a way of doing that. This time 3 years ago I woulda kicked him until he left me alone. Now I look for him every time i leave the house so I can pet him.

My wife loves cats and I am so glad I am allergic to them. Just so much as petting them and I start sneezing, gettin red eyes. Cats can be sweet but I'd never get one but it sounds like you are the chosen one for this cat.
Just the opposite at my house. Me and my kids love all animals,invertebrates,insects,etcetc. But my wife hates cats,dogs, and most any and all of my other 'weird' critters (snakes,lizards,tarantulas). She is only slightly tolerating my inside living 35lb Boston terror who isnt helping anything at all by always stealing and ripping up her bedside slippers. She threatens to kill him daily. And he costs me $7 every time he rips up a pair. Still. I come home after a couple of weeks being gone working on the road and guess who is sleeping on her bed?Lollll. So,I know she has a heart for animals inside her some where. The kids had to do some hardcore begging and crying to get their 2 female Beagles even though theyre yard dogs. They have asked repeatedly for years for an inside cat- but she is solid in her 'hell no's'. Looks like the azzhole Boston is going to be the only thing living inside her house besides the humans. Her house,her rules. I have to keep my weird critters in a small locked temperature and humidity controlled room that I built out in my mancave. My part of the house,my rules. Hmmm. Maybe we can get a cat and let it live out there.
