I couldnt agree more. Things like this make me pray that I an not a police officer. Because somehow that guy would be resisting arrest, or trip over his shoe lace. I hope he gets his in prison.

I am going to be a cop when I get done with school and I know what you mean. Having to see this would be hard and not kicking his ass would be even harder.

At risk of everyone hating me even more, this man does deserve a trial. It will probably be an extremely short one, "how do you plead?" "guilty" "ok then. good bye." But he deserves one nonetheless. I mourn for this country when anyone can arbitrarily decide who and who does not get a trial by his or her peers.

There are many cases where a person even admits to being guilty, but is not actually guilty. Perhaps they wish they had done it, perhaps they're mentally unstable and think they did it, or perhaps they want to protect the person who did do it. I'm not saying this guy didn't do it, but you have to realize you're determining guilt from a 1-2 page news article that may or may not be biased. You determine guilt with the trial, everyone deserves that. Even if it only lasts a few minutes.

Intellectually I know you are right so no grief from me. But my gut tells me he needs to be tortured for a long, long time before he gets to dig his own grave and someone puts a bullet between his eyes.

You are right of course. It's just hard to not feel that raw emotion expressed by the OP when you read something like that.
