I thought the point wasn't how much she made, but that she paid more in taxes on what she made than her boss did on what he made.

I don't recall anyone saying she was paying too much or that she couldn't afford to live, just that she was paying a higher percentage than he was.

After 1350 posts you should have figured it out by now. A lot of times on here it is a "go with the flow" board.

Or how much her husband makes. He's probably a 1%er who only pays 13 or 14% on his investment income.

For her to have a higher tax rate then Buffett, she has to be a 1%.

That was the point Buffet made, but BO has spun it into the "little guy" needing a tax break....
