Sorry I couldn't make lunch. Kids were out of school I had a car load. Can't feed 4+ teeenagers at burgess without taking a mortgage on the house. I had to do Pizza Hut buffet.

I just ate at Santa Fe Steakhouse on West Cache and really enjoyed the meal. I also noticed two parties of 10+ eating in different parts of the restaurant.
Has the Lawton FGST ever had a lunch there? (Don't worry Billy I know we already have another place for this week! :^)
The place seems a bit nicer than The Texas Roadhouse to me.

Anyway just wondering if any FGSTers have experience with Santa Fe.

The boss and I have eaten at Santa Fe a few times. I'm not much of a steak eater so generally go for other options; she doesn't really care much as long as she can drown it in A1 sauce. Seemed a bit pricey the last time we went as I remember.

My preference of the two (Santa Fe and Texas RoadHouse) goes to Texas.

I've eaten at both several times and like both, but the steaks are better at TRH.

As an aside, I might be a bit biased as I had a CC number stolen after using it at TRH.
Turned out that two of their staff members were collecting CC numbers and using them.
Kinda pissed me off when I notified the manager about it and only got a "yeah, we've taken care of that issue."

One place that we REALLY will need to check out soon is WiseGuys in Cache Road Square when they open.
I understand that on Tuesdays, they will be giving a 10% discount if you show your Concealed Carry permit.
I figure if they are going to be gun positive, we might want to reciprocate.
