Check out the new browning auto5. They are badass
Why does the standard Versa Max sell anywhere from $875 to over $1,200? Am I missing something?
I have a similar problem. Because I dont get to spend that much on new toys very often, Im having a hard time picking between the:
Benelli Montefeltro
Benelli M2
Remington Versa Max
Im leaning towards the Benelli Montefeltro for the beauty of it but my pragmatic self keeps telling me to go with the M2.
If you are recoil sensitive, the VM is for you. QC is still spotty and so the build quality just isnt consistent enough. May be one of those "if you get a good one...", guns.
If you like light, svelte guns that dont feel overly heavy, M2 is it. As a bonus, the M2 is built like a brick sh!thouse and can handle abuse.
In 3gun, VM has its proponents, but M2's are still the king.
930? run away.
primarily barrel issues, themselves, not mag tube alignment. choke threads not conentric, mis-jigged vent ribs, ****** welds. although trigger components like to break also.
I don't want to drop over $1k on a shotgun and get garbage.
The VM I am seeing at ACADEMY is wayyyyyyyyyy under $1k. What are you looking at? WallyWorld had 1 for $778 last week.
