I finally shot a glock

Always figured you had to be kinda limp wristed to shoot a glock, with that funky grip angle, jus sayin'.

Some are for sure... but considering 1911 sales crush Glock sales... I'd say there's enough examples for something to go wrong.

Got any real numbers to back up that statement?
And don't try to go back 100 years cause the Glock hasn't been around that long.

Every time I hear this argument, I can't help but think back to that first season of Top Shot... There was a self-proclaimed 'world class pistol shooter' that lost a challenge for his entire team... Blamed the Glock grip angle for his inability to shoot straight and/or accurate. It was hilarious.

no still not finding on shelf in our town, I hear 223 is about as cheap now. Is there a gun you recommend?

This is a timeless classic like "Who's On First?" I like both. I own both. I love my 1911s, but Glock outsells that platform. By a lot.

If you took a 1911 and made it out of plastic, squared the barrel, removed the grip saftey, do away with the barrel bushing, rechambered it to several calibers and changed the grip angle.....what would you have? Just another 1911.

Some really purdy plastic pistols in this thread. Too bad they all had to go "Kaboom" to improve their looks. Send them back to the manufacturer and maybe he'll make something useful out of them this time, like soap dishes maybe.
