Dennis is right - put charred oak chips in a gallon moonshine and let it sit for a few weeks, then pour it through a piece of cheesecloth or something to strain the wood out and it will pass for keg liquor. However, if you're a real purist you can still buy new charred oak kegs at the old hardware store in Talihina.

that store has been closed for a couple of years. the ole gal had a gambling problem from what I hear.
