The tribes in Oklahoma will do it first and the state will come calling for compacts, hungry for a cut of the revenues while still insisting they are opposed to legalization, because... you know... well... Jesus.

Wisconsin Tribes already trying.

Oklahoma compacts are renegotiated in 2019. That would probably be their best chance to get something done by rolling it into the gaming negotiations.

Doubt it though

My tribe won't. They have had too much trouble with meth, etc there is no way it would happen. They're trying to get and keep people clean.

(Tapatalk)- on the road.

Does your tribe pay per caps? Seems those tribes where the members rely on per caps to provide for themselves tend to have more of these issues. I deal with a tribe up north and they've been reliant on per caps since they opened their casino but now the revenues are at all time lows and the heroine problem is at all time highs. No pun intended.

No per caps or casino money. Worse. Mineral rights errr oil money. 100 years of oil money. Our progressive Congress and Chiefs office are against anything to do with any type of drug.

The Osage tribe was the Richest per capita group in the world until Saudi took over. The oil patch dried up. Its not near like it used to be, but still a bucket load of oil comes out of that county.

My grandfather was born in Ponca City in 1885, half Osage and half Kaw- his mother was Kaw and his father was Osage. His parents were both born after the forced move from Missouri. He was one of the original Chilocco kids. In 1905 when they opened up the Osage rolls he and his brothers and father were among the original 2,229 Osages who got on the roll and each recieved one full share of the newly established mineral estate. A share was based on 160 acres of allotment land. When their father passed he passed his share to his 3 sons and they in turn passed theirs on down to their children when they passed. My mother was an only child so when my grandfather passed in 72' he left half of his full share and one third to my mom and the other half to me at age 3 and my younger brother age one year, we will in turn then leave it for our kids, and on and on until the end of it I suppose. I personally never touch mine, I just leave in my IIM account in Albuquerque where it draws 4%, same as my mother. My younger brother is a drunk and drug addict and felon who spends his as fast as he gets it and is always broke even tho he runs his own oilfield service business. To our people it has been both a blessing and a curse...

SWIM has a medical marijuana card from CA, and then has smoked recreationally while visiting in WA and CO. Would they be wrong in answering No on 11e on the 4473 when back in OK?

That opens up debate on what the word "are" means. The question asks if you are an unlawful user, not if you were an unlawful user.

Weird phrasing all around in that question and several others on the 4473.

I figured since the MMJ card is state issue and the shite is only legal in those states by the state and not federally then its still illegal to be smoking it and buying brand new guns. The 4473 form is a federal form to get background check from NCIS? If so then to me that means if weed is illegal at the federal level then buying a firearm even while smoking with a state issued medical mj card you would still be illegally answering No to that question? Confusing.

Tax the sales, subsidize the growth from a government (federal) standpoint. From an individual standpoint, buy stock in Frito Lay, Game Stop/fly, and Taco Bell.

Nothing exposes corruption in government like the topic of marijuana, IMO. All the things that are legal and dangerous to your health but a plant, nope, can't have that. Money money money... It's all about money.

Money buys power and control. The most insane thing is that people actually waste their time to choose these criminals in suits who become their masters.
