Haven't seen this posting on here. Has anyone tried magpuls new gun belt? If so how do you like it. How is it compared to a looper gun belt? I have a couple different belts but thinking of getting a magpul. They look really nice and sound like they work very well.

$80, dang. Hope it's nice.
I have yet to find a real good leather belt for under that. Except maybe my looper and it wasn't much cheaper than that. This one sounds and looks very heavy duty and seems to be made really well. I trust magpul. My bull hide belt from bullhidebelts.com was around $80. It better be good for that price though. It will go right back if it ain't.

I'm going to try biothane to replace my worn out Looper. Surprisingly, I have heard almost nothing about the Magpul, so looking forward to your feedback.

Brownells has them for $70 although I bought one from Magpul website and I prefer it to my Looper belt I got at H&H.

Got my belt yesterday. I have to say it's the most rigid belt I have ever used. It is also made very well. Fits great and looks great as well. It's thicker than the looper belts. It barely goes through my belt loops on my shorts but I like that. Makes it fit better without the sag. My looper had a little sag to it and so did my bullhide belt. But not this one. My holster stays right where it is and when I draw it doesn't move either. I would highly recommend getting one.

It also has some sort of liner on that back that keeps it from sliding very easily while in the belt loops. Its a nice feature once it is on but can make it a pain to put on sometimes depending on which set of pants it is going in.
