I've been using a couple Sweeney feeders for a couple years, and when I initially bought legs, I got them too short and have had deer licking corn off the spinners. Last weekend, I put longer legs on those feeders, and there have been several deer caught on camera looking up longingly at the spinners. Well, tonight I got this.....

They had been eating about 300 lbs per feeder per week off the spinners.

I need to extend the legs on mine. I have tons of pics with them licking the spinners, but when I do, its tough to get the buckets of corn high enough to dump into the drum. No trees to hang them from with a pulley.

We had a bigger buck doing that on a feeder a few years back, but never any others, so we didn't worry about it much...300 lbs would definitely had us worrying LOL

Honestly if I can keep the coons off the feeder I could careless how much feed the deer eat. My favorite and most productive feeder I own is a banks feeder. By far, hands down, the one that attracts the most deer. Its a walk up style feeder with just a single post which greatly reduces the coons accessing it once you put shark teeth strips on it. Here is a pic of it:
