NO! Big brother spying. Looking for a reason to ticket people. Looks like some New York BS

I thought the article said 2.5 million. I was skimming through it so I probably missed something
you are correct

The budget passed Wednesday night 7-1-1. Hall-Harper was the only one to vote against the budget proposal. She told the council the $2.5 million crime information center is the reason why she voted no.

Money would be better spent fixing the roads (especially the Hwy 169 N onto I-244 W overpass) and syncronizing the traffic lights on Memorial Drive (from 71st Street South to 151st Street South).
Exactly! That 169 to I244W is the WORST. I cannot believe they have allowed it to get so bad. Dangerous bad.
