back in the late 80's i think it was in 88 or 89 i got 2 failure to yeild tickets for running stop signs, in 90 or 91 a failure to wear a seat belt . all three by city of muskogee. in 91 or 92 i got a fine from a cherokee county game warden for trying to shoot a turkey out of season.i paid all fines on time no delays.the turkey deal was actually it was fall turkey season but archery only i miss read the regulations it said you could use a shotgun for the season.but not on a gma i did not see that part. does any of these cause concern for delays or denial.i would like to know before i take the class and submit my application.i'm wanting to use conceal carry at ba for the class just haven't schelued it yet.

just make sure you include them in your package, or else they will get you for omission......

It is pretty simple, if you will pass a NICS check and can purchase a gun, you can get your CCL in Oklahoma.

What gillman said. But what the tR said also, be sure and list them if you are required to. I can't recall the wording in the packet it has been so long ...

I had a couple issues I was concerned about. Called the office handling sda issues, forgot the name of it. The lady told me the biggest mistake is to leave something that turns out to be minor off your application and they find it in a police record somewhere. They make the assumption you're hiding stuff. At the very least it will delay your application and could quite likely justify refusing it all together. If it was a police or court matter of ANY kind you really shoud report it. They'll almost surely find it anyway.

what ever you do... disclose it on the CCP form, even if it's be expunged... you may not get turned down for ancient misdemeanors, but for sure you will get turned down if they think you are not be truthful by not including it.

somewhere there will be a record of it.... and they will find it.

Agree with all above post. I also had some issues when younger, I actually had a failure to yeild fine and moved to another state, did'nt pay the fine here (yeah stupidity of youth). When I returned there was a warrant out for my arrest, paid it before I got picked up. In the time I was gone I also had my DL suspended. ALL this and I have renewed my permit just recently for the third time. You will be just fine!
