Hell Jessie I have a couple scoped rifles laying around, want to make a substantial side bet, I'll even let you pick which one, the J.P. with the TA-11 or the Triangle rifle w/ the Meopta...or even better I will shoot in scoped division with my Iron sight practice rifle...now how can you say no to that! Standard bet?

BTW remeber the follower made of unobtainium!

This will create a sucking sound in Guthrie... We just got the silhouette range so we will have 10" flash targets to 400 meters.

Still want to shoot those irons, flower boy?

Mike we can have an overall winner, meerly put everones raw score into one big file ( this can be done automatically as you input data for divisions), and then have the one big file calculate the fastest time/stage points just like the divisions...I for one want to see the overalls to see just how bad you and Jessie beat me!:tounge2:

Yah, I know, but I don't want any more crying! :)

Ok now that Mike has made this our first real 3 gun match we will go with optics since my brown eye isn't good over 200 with the irons.

How much will my 12 gauge slugs and a 9mm bullets drop at 400 yds? I've only shot the pistol out to 50 and the shotgun to 100.

Kurt you can choose the rifle but you have to shoot without a follower in your shotgun if we are gonna wager anything more than a 6 pack.

Mike, Sean, and Kurt,

Thanks for stepping up the trash talk. This is definately getting more fun. Where's Scott and Curly? Cat got your tongue guys?

I was reviewing the IMGA rules on Heavy Metal. Does a person who shoots this division use a 12 gauge pump or is an autoloader allowed, the site I was looking as indicated either one. It is also my understanding a 1911 single stack has to be used, is this correct?

Thanks

Stew

Stew, when we came up with this division (Eddie Rohdes, 2003) it was an auto division, however due to popular demand the people who shot heavy metal...He Man as it was orriginally called...., wanted it to be a pump division. So I will speak for OKC3G and say it is a pump only division...however any .45 caliber auto will do as long as it is loaded to division capacity. Meaning as long as you only load the number of bullets demanded by the division it can be anything, with any type of mag. KurtM

I have an 870 with an 8 round tube on it if you need a pump.

Did you guys here that there will be a shotgun side match after the ProAm at USSA this month? Great tune up for the old weakhand right before the big 3 gun match and the High Plains Shotgun Challenge. We are really getting some good matches here in OK!

Is this a great state or what?
