New turn signal law

Sorry if there is a thread on this already, I searched and didn't find one. It sounds like this pertains to OKC only? How does this get around Oklahoma preemption. Currently state law doesn't specify a distance before making a lane change after using a blinker. OKC now says it a 100 ft.

It's just an easy way for the police to get PC for a stop. You'll turn your turn signal on a 1/4 mile prior and they'll say it was 60'.

100 feet is the minimum distance? What if we just drove around with the blinker on all the time?

Next time you see a LEO check to see if they use their turn signal. I swear I have almost NEVER seen them use one.

And what about when I want to change lanes in a traffic jam moving 100 ft every 3 minutes?

I've videoed this numerous times. One locally based OHP had 7 violations within a 2 mile stretch that I have on video. The way in which law enforcement drives with absolute disregard for traffic laws is unacceptable.

I didn't get a ticket.

On the news they were saying there wasn't a min in the law. But I know howhat much the news gets a lot wrong when it comes to laws.
I figuredon't why don't they informed current laws like tailgating not using a blinker and unsafe lane change instead for making up new law if that is the case.
