The tool referenced in your link is a crank lock. I have one in my tool box. To employ the crank lock, you remove a small plug in the lower rear of the engine block, turn the engine to TDC number one, and then thread the crank lock into the hole. it fits a dent in the crank and locks the crank in place for timing belt replacement. Sometimes it's nearly impossible to figure out what a tool is for, without knowing the applicationThat doesnt go to a car.....it goes to a motercycle.
It holds the piston to the top ,while you time the flywheel......
