With all the down sides mentioned in the article, how about the .govs being able to shut down your 'smart gun' just like they can shut down the electronics on your car----hum??? And how about if the 'smart gun' shuts down and you get your shot/head blown off by the bad guys, who is going to pony up damages??? Looks like with the .gov 'Big Brother' control and the liability issues, a 'smart gun' has to be a lib dem gun hatin'/grabbin' 'jackwagon/fiasco gun' agenda item---IMHO.
