No surprise there. They still haven't sent my new tax exemption. They wanted another copy of my dd214. I told them how do you not have it on file no answer. I'm drive up to the city tomorrow to talk to them in person.

To me if you’re a Vet you should live pretty much free. At least as far as taxation and tuitions.

Hell last time I tried to use the gi bill I ended up owing the college because the va never did my paperwork and I had to drop my classes.

There is nothing free, a veteran earned whatever benefits they have though putting up with a lot that the average civilian wouldn't even think about nor volunteer. A civilian gets into a beef with his or her supervisor and if they don't like the outcome, they walk off the job. A GI can't walk off the job they have to take the crap dished out by poor supervisors.
