I guess it's the resemblance to the Super Blackhawk Bisley Hunter, the KNR-717H being a discontinued model and seeing more .17 HMR on the LGS shelves than .22 that got me interested in one of these.

$700?? Sounds like they are playing the "It's a Davidson's dealer exclusive so we are going to call it rare and charge extra for it" game...nope.

It's a nice gun and there is always .17 HMR on the shelves but I wouldn't pay that much unless you are just head over heels, insane crazy over that particular model, otherwise I would pick from one of the other several models available.
