You'll soon find that the more you stray from JMB's design, the more problems you will have with your .45. Hell, even some 8 round mags have issues. That's because the 1911 was originally designed to only hold 7 rounds in the magazine. The same thing applies to changing out parts and grinding around on that pistol.

try a wilson mag.... also take your 1911 to a qualified gun smith.
he will inspect ramp for burrs and proper angle.

Nope...it's just the truth.

The more you grind on those things and install parts and gidgets and gazmos that the factory didn't already install, the more trouble you're gonna have with 'em.

You should see my latest hybrid then. Springer basic GI with Wilson and Kimber stainless controls. US woodie grips as well. Don't fear the 1911, become one with it..........
