One end threads on to the regulator on the unit, the other end threads on to the propane tank itself. I bought a "Y" Connector so I could run both units off of one tank.If you look at the picture of both units on page one, you can see a small orange cap on the bottom left of each unit. That is where one end of the propane hose threads on to the regulator.</blockquote>
