[QUOTE="imhntn, post: 2037646, member: 3755"] I say 22 lbs on the cat. I called most of the day Wednesday and only got the double that morning. Spent all day calling around Binger Thursday and never called a coyote. Had one cat come in behind me, I could hear the blue jays and crows giving it heck, but it got to where it could see the decoy and did not come out into the open where I could see it. The tracks were in the snow to confirm my suspicions. Went to Altus Friday and called some great looking stuff along the North Fork of the Red River and never called a thing. Drove up to Coldwater, KS Fri evening and called there all day Sat. Called 2 in on the second stand of the day and my partner got one of them. He was watching downwind and I never saw them. Around 3:30 I finally called another in and caught it circling behind me and killed it with the .17 Rem at 125 yrds and that was the last action of the day. My partner did spot one big bobcat at 250 yrds just as I was sitting the call and decoy out in front of us on one stand and motioned for me to get down and start calling. The cat ran the other way. Looking back he should have popped it where it sat but you know what they say about hindsight. I have talked to a few other guys lately and must be moon phase or weather but none seem to be having much luck calling. That is just how it is sometimes though. Here are the hero pics.
