Neighbors were on dirt bikes when i arrived. Their oldest left the house twice, blaring on his horn...a doe circled at 40 yards and left with all the commotion. At last light, a buck was coming in at 125 yards. It was going to be close on time. Then the other neighbor started banging a feed bucket and calling their horse. The buck froze and appeared to do a 180. I gave it a couple minutes and climbed down, leaving with no flashlight.
