I was doing some spring cleaning and found a box of 500 round Winchester Leader 40 gr. .22 long rifle shells in a drawer.
I don't know how long they have been there, probably very long time. I would like to trade them for .22 short ammo.
I'm in Claremore. Anybody interested?

Am I correct in saying the Leader stuff is pre WWII? I have 1.5 bricks of 22 shorts. Just need to know more about what you have. I live in Oologah.

No this ammo is probably from the 1960's or 1970's I'd guess. Maybe later but I don't know, I will try to see if there is a way to tell for sure when it was
made.

I emailed Winchester and asked if they knew when the ammo was made. If they know and send me an answer I will let you know how old it is.
There aren't any specific numbers on the box and only one number that might indicate something on the inside flap, so hope that will help them.
