223 will be the lowest cost to shoot rounds are .21-.25 a round the other two are going to be closer to .65 to .75 per round. I know the .243 and likely 22-250 will shoot flatter at longer distanceslooking for one of these to predator hunt around the $350 to $400 range preferably from Tulsa north
I vote 243....Bought a nice little Rem Model 7 for my son (and me to share) a few years back. He's still not old enough to get into it but it's been one of my favorites for the last couple of years. I worked up a load with some 95 Bergers this year and have dropped everything I've shot at. Unfortunately they run around $600 for a decent used one but I've never regretted it. Several people have tried to buy it off me and I continue to politely decline.Part of the reason for thinking.243 is my wife wants something to deer hunt with I figured I could kill 2 birds with one rifle so to speak
In that cas 243 is the way to go, 22-250 secondPart of the reason for thinking.243 is my wife wants something to deer hunt with I figured I could kill 2 birds with one rifle so to speak
I have been watching the grandson and two daughters for several years now shoot them behind the shoulder and drop within ten feet with 95 grain federal fusionI’d go .243 then for deer. I’ve chased a number of deer shot with .22-250. .243 with a shot to the neck and no worries. Clean, dropping hit or clean miss.
