At H&H right now, there's a used/consigment sporterized 98 Mauser in .280 Rem, with a nice stock, good bluing and nice scope base/mount. Light/sporter barrel. It's got a Kahles Helia 2-7x36 scope on it, which runs $500-$600 new - the entire rig is $550 I believe. Maybe it was $650 being asked. Get them down to $500 and you've got the rifle for free, essentially. I may get it, but don't need it at all of course.
