Looking for a 308 for my wife. This will probably get used very little, mainly needed for a guided hunt next year, so not wanting to spend a bunch of money. Thinking something like a Ruger American, base model Savage (not an Axis), or maybe a plain Rem 700. Synthetic stock will be fine. Bare rifle or with optic depending on deal. TIA
