Sorry, I haven't tested a bunch. Seems like one major ammo company has some loaded for snubs that have less muzzle flash. I might be mixed up.

About any quality 158 grain JHP or SP for hunting.

If you want to burn them, just about any major manufacturer's 125gr load will do with Federal and Remington about neck to neck as to quality. Now if you want something that works with out the blast, noise, an recoil, load up some .38Spl. 158gr SWCHP+P. She'll do everything the .357 will without all the racket!

Speer .357 Magnum 135 grain GDHP Short Barrel load. That's what I carry in my three inch S&W Model 13-3 since I stopped abusing it with 125 grainers.
