38 Super loading

Hey everyone,
I am thinking about reloading for my super and have been looking for some HS 6 powder and hoped some of ya'll could point me in the right direction.

Also what bullets are you using for your 38 supers? I will be using these reloads for targets and the unlucky coyote.

I usually shoot 124/147gr bullets. I now use Accurate No.7 powder. I can push the 124gr over 1,400fps and the 147gr over 1,300fps.

I've reloaded for this cartridge for over 30 years now and you can "hot rod" it but you need to read your brass. Back when I shot IPSC flattened primers or an occasional pierced primer were the norm and brass life wasn't great either.

What are you shooting this round out of? A change in recoil weight spring may be necessary so you don't beat the heck out of your pistol.
