I have a .40 Kahr, and in the interest of cheaper paper shooting, thought I'd go with some lead bullets from J&K.
Got the bullets, and while cleaning the pistol, noticed it had a polygonal barrel like a glock.
I have read in the past where glock has reported problems with shooting lead.
I called Kahr, and got the stock lawyer answer that "they don't support reloads in their guns, and certainly not lead as it will lead up the barrel making it unsafe".

What say you guys, and please don't chime in if you don't know for sure as my safety is paramount to me.

Keep them backed off of jacketed velocity just a little bit and you should be fine. Mitch has fired thousands through the polygonal rifled Glock barrels. Just clean your barrel once in awhile and you'll be golden.

What weight did you get?

Well that's kind of a buzz kill. :rotflmao:

For what it's worth the glocks shoot hard cast lead bullets fine.
I've shot them out of my 21. Have a friend whose shot thousand out of his 19.
Give the barrel a good cleaning to get any copper fouling out first.
But like everything else you're the final decision maker.
