I think most parents understand what Gary did, and if I was on the jury I certainly wouldn't convict him. This event just further strained his relationship with his son though from what I hear and is honestly just tragic for all involved(except the POS rapist).

I like seeing monsters get justice as much as the next guy but what I really wish was that Gary was never put in this situation in the first place, and certainly don't hope for more events like it.
