Colt would sell to any LE agency, even if the state they're in had a total gun ban.
Hell CT has banned multiple Colt models of AR since 1994. Now you can't buy a colt AR at all in CT. They don't care.

After seeing some of the legislation that passed, I don't agree with that. It's a display of how the community feels about a specific political issue, little more.
I don't think manufacturers should penalize LEOs for politician's choices.
That needs to be left up to people wanting to fight that battle.
If you feel strongly about a decision some state has made politically, boycott the state. Maybe write to the CEOs of companies in that state and tell them you will not do business with his company and why.
But an LEO is just trying to do his job, I wouldn't take his tools just to prove a point.
So would Glock, HK, Remington, S&W and Sigarms. Those six manufacturers have 98% of the LE market in the country. Unless they all climb on board, it means VERY little.
I think the citizens should have the same choices for self defense that the LEO has. If a state restricts a certain gun from private ownership police should not get to use it either.
Cops are people; one presumes they have consciences just the same as anybody else. If the laws are unjust, they should find an honest job rather than cowering behind the "just doing my job" excuse.I don't think manufacturers should penalize LEOs for politician's choices.
